Dunkin Donuts iced tea. With a lemon and 2 straws. Simple and wonderful.

Similar to Maria & April’s relationship. Nothing superfluous. Just pure adoration and love for each other. I was contacted by Maria because I had photographed a mutual friend while I was in school. Maria asked if I could go to Boston, MA to take engagement photos. I’m always a fan of going to Boston, so I happily obliged.
Yesterday I finally got to meet these two wonderful people!! Photographing them was easy at every level. They simply worked perfectly together. Kind of like iced tea and a lemon! They had met in college, and now work for the higher education system. They love Boston as their new hometown, however neither were born in the city. Maria is actually from my hometown, North Adams!! We met in the Boston Public Garden, which is B-E-A-UTIFUL! They got engaged there, on one of the benches, after getting an afternoon tea (How perfect!) They also suggested Beacon Hill, which has Boston’s original pebble street, Acorn St.. The Beacon Hill area itself is gorgeous, and pebble street gave the ladies a special old-world feel to their session. I loved, loved, loved the pebble, except that it is not particularly kind on the buttocks when sitting for photos. Sorry ladies! Regardless, we had a great time walking around Boston.
Well, basically I feel like the pictures speak for themselves on the love that these two have. It was adorable, and I can only hope that I find others who are as in love as these two.

Congratulations Maria & April, you two are wonderful and deserve nothing but the best!!
the pictures truly capture the LOVE shared between Maria and April-it’s a pleasure to see!!!! Can’t wait for the big day!!! LOVE to you both-Kathy-of Clip Shop fame
